LUNCHEON WITH A PURPOSE

Our first event of 2012 was held on Friday, January 6, 2012, Marie Morole Executive Director, attended the  "Luncheon With A Purpose" event  held at Bayside Community in Selbyville. WOW what a turn out! There were well over eighty ladies at this wonderful event and we here at Sussex Communuity Crisis Housing Services, Inc. were just blown away with their generosity! All proceeds benefited Sussex Community Crisis Housing Services, Inc. and we are deeply grateful for the generous donation and for all of the donations of personal hygiene items for our residents! We are truly blessed to have such wonderful support!

HATS OFF TO SPRING

On Saturday, April 21, 2012 Red Hats and Friends from New Castle, Kent and Sussex Counties joined hostess and Red Hat Queen Mother Maxine McWhorter Ungerbuehler, who also coordinated the event, at the Bay Leaf Restaurant in Milton, DE.  The event was a "Hats off to Spring and to celebrate Life and Sisterhood. 

Entertaining the sold-out event was famed Elvis impersonator, Bob Lougheed who sang and smoozed the Women in Hats.

From the event's Chinese Auction and 50/50,  Marie Morole, Executive Director received an envelope with $550 to support the Crisis House. 

Our sincerest thanks  to Maxine and all our Red Hats Friends that made the day a big success.

Make sure you ask to see our current collection of pins and with each season we will be adding new ones to our collection.
